Turning a Bad Listing Into a Good Listing.

It doesn't take long to browse Craigslist and to find listings that are lazy and lethargic. An interesting study would be to calculate how much money people lose because they didn't properly describe their items or the description is poor. Below is an example of a listing that I found 30 seconds into browsing for a guitar.

Original Listing found on Craigslist:

Title: Guitar for Sale

Description:

2013 Beauty Stratocaster with case

Just have too many.

$1200

That's it. That was the whole listing for the guitar. No condition, no features, no descriptive words, no salesmanship.

Fixed Listing:

Title: 2013 Fender Amer Deluxe HSS Strat guitar, great condition.

The top-of-the-line Fender American Deluxe HSS Stratocaster, which combines traditional Stratocaster design with contemporary features and playability, is up for sale. The maple neck on this guitar is snug and simple to play, and it has a sleek and beautiful brown finish.

This guitar is part of the American Deluxe series, which is renowned for its fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. It has never had any faults and is in perfect operating order. It has been well-maintained. To keep it safe while being transported, it comes with a protective case.

This guitar is a must have for anyone seeking to upgrade to a Stratocaster or this would make a fantastic present to a loved one that plays guitar.

Asking $1,100.
